Edmund Allison, MSN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience providing comprehensive primary care across correctional, military, rural, and outpatient clinical settings. He currently practices with the Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, where he delivers patient-centered care focused on acute and chronic disease management, prevention, and long-term wellness.
Throughout his career, Edmund has cared for diverse patient populations and managed complex medical needs across the lifespan. He brings strong procedural expertise, including suturing, joint injections, biopsies, incision and drainage, splinting, EKG interpretation, and preventive screenings. His background spans service within the U.S. Army medical system, rural primary care clinics, and hospital-based medical-surgical units—shaping a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to care.
Driven by a desire to offer more personalized, proactive, and integrative healthcare, Edmund founded HealthNex Integrative Care, where he combines evidence-based medicine with a whole-person approach. Through HealthNex, he partners closely with patients to address the root causes of illness, support sustainable lifestyle changes, and deliver care that is accessible, collaborative, and truly individualized.
